Chris and his band played at our wedding. They had the dance floor full and everyone commented on what a great band they were. They even learnt our first dance song and it was just perfect. Chris has been great in the run up to the wedding, always answering emails quickly and generally being really helpful. I would highly recommend Chris if you are planning any event

We recently had Chris Stocks and The Guardians at our wedding. From booking to the big day everything went smoothly. We requested a one off/special song for our first dance which Chris did acoustically and took the time to get it exactly how we wanted. All the guests raved about the band and it couldn’t have gone better. A number of guests said they were the best band they’d seen at a wedding. I can not recommend these guys enough. If you’re after a band don’t hesitate. Book them and they will not disappoint.

We booked Chris to play at our wedding on Saturday. Chris played a solo acoustic set during the drinks reception and the full band played the evening reception.
From point of booking right through to the big day Chris was outstanding. Always quick to answer emails and nothing was too much trouble. It really put our minds at ease knowing we were dealing with such a professional.
On the big day itself Chris and the band were fantastic. I lost track of how many guests asked who the band were and where did we find them. Everybody was so complimentary of them. The dance floor was full all night long and everybody had the time of their lives.
The set list was faultless, the performance superb and from start to finish everybody was simply stunned at how outstanding Chris and the band sounded. Chris even learnt an acoustic song of our choice for our dance for which his voice sounded incredible.

Chris and his band were just incredibly easy to deal with from start to finish. He kept in touch throughout the planning process to make sure we were happy, and on the night he delivered such a great performance that he had the audience demanding more songs. He kindly obliged even though they must have been exhausted! They even learned a special song for my Dad which was such a special moment for me. Played at Crown Inn at Roecliffe. Kept people on the dance floor all night. Were able to deal with our last minute change of first dance song smoothly. Drummer gave my little boy his drum sticks as he was mesmerised by then all night so was a nice touch for him to remember the day by. Would recommend very highly.

We booked Chris to play at our wedding reception which was hosted on a river boat. He was excellent during the planning stages and professionally answered any queries swiftly. He performed two sets at the reception and was awesome! His performance exceeded all expectations and the songs performed were perfectly pitched for our guests. His professionalism was well and truly tested when the canopy of the boat leaked upon him during heavy rain! Chris's service was incredible from the start of our emails to packing up at the end of the night. I got in touch with Chris via his website and discussed that I was getting married in a couple of months. I had quite a unique venue where dancing wasn't really possible but I wanted guests to have some fun and feel entertained. Chris did all of this and more and even managed to get us singing along!! He was brilliant on the night - needed no support from thank goodness, he just came in discreetly set up- played 2 fantastic sets and packed up! I couldn't have asked for me - plus incredibly honest - I over paid him without realising and he immediately let me know and transferred the money back. Brilliant - made our wedding perfect! After searching through what seemed like a million bands for our wedding we finally came across Chris and thank god we did! From the moment we met him right until the end of our wedding, Chris was amazing. He played solo acoustic during the drinks reception which sounded fab. His band then joined later to sing our first dance (James Morrison - Won't Let You Go) which sounded amazing! The band then played during the evening playing all our favorite songs and getting the dance floor rocking. So many people have commented on how much they enjoyed the band which was obvious from how many people were on the dance floor throughout the night. We hired Chris to play at our Wedding Reception Party in Leeds. Chris played in the afternoon during Cocktails and canapés and he was fantastic. His music choice was perfect for the setting and mood we wanted to achieve and he had a fantastic voice. Chris was a pleasure to deal with, really friendly, personable and professional. He was on time and we did not have to worry about thing on the day.

Chris played solo at our wedding (Sept 2015) and was fantastic, from very first contact, meeting up to discuss, through to the big day Chris was extremely professional but also really personable.
Great guy and an even better voice, all our guests commented on how good he was, and is still being talked about a week later. He sang Lucky Man (Verve) for our first dance and was one of the best solo acoustic covers I've heard, I love the song anyway but it was Epic and a moment I will never forget in no small part to Chris. Cannot recommend highly enough.

Chris and John came to do an hours set after our meal for our wedding day on the 7th August 2015. We wanted an acoustic set as we both like this sort of music. This was a time for relaxation and a time for people to chill after filling their stomachs. This was absolutely awesome as both entertained our guests with their fabulous skill set. Both were accomplished musicians and entertained us and our guests for 80 minutes of nonstop music. My only regret was that they could not stop longer and play us in to the night which they would have done but our disco started at 7.30pm… Many of our guests commented on how good Chris and John were and how well they interacted with everyone throughout the set. We would like to place on record our thanks to Chris and John who helped make our special day even more special with their music. Everyone was in a great mood which was also down to their music they played. Anyone thinking of booking these guys please do as you will not be disappointed. "Class act". Thanks again Chris for the experience and it purely felt like a private performance by a class act… We would love to see the full band in action at some point …many thanks for contributing to our special day…

Chris played a solo/acoustic set at our wedding in East Keswick. He was absolutely fantastic and an awesome addition to our wedding. His playlist covered a wide range of genres and decades and so suited all guests, playing both classics and contempory songs. A real crowd pleaser, everyone commented on how good he was and what a great atmosphere it added to the wedding. Despite booking Chris very last minute he was accommodating and took time to find out what we wanted, our musical tastes, and if there was anything specific we wanted to hear. We changed the running order a couple of times and Chris stayed flexible throughout to ensure we made the most of the time we had. He arrived early, and was in position playing by the time the bride/groom arrived. I cannot recommend Chris enough and he was easily the best money we spent at the wedding. Great bloke, great musician, and great addition to any wedding!

Chris Stocks and The Guardians played at our wedding in North Yorkshire March 2015. The overall experience was excellent and I would have no hesitation in recommending Chris and the Band to others.
Right from the get go, Chris invited us to watch them audition. The audition was great and it gave us an insight into the kind of performance we could expect at our wedding. Booking was simple and the lines of communication where clear and open at all times.
The performance on the day was great, the band sang our first dance song live which made it even more special - looking at footage that our guests filmed of the dance, Chris and the band sound amazing, they really added something special to our wedding and we can't thank them enough. During the performance our guests were saying how good the band was and even since then people have commented saying how impressed they were.
